The more we are, the more the interconnected system will function. We organize events to spread the knowledge collected on this site.
We are developing a distributed digital tool which will aid people to create a new, decentralized digital economy, not based on the market prices, but rather on the resources required to fullfill the demand.
Civilization Alpha is sponsoring plans for cheap housing units, affordable by everyone. These housing units can be considered as a closed ecosystem, and can be built from recycled material and are designed to be self-sustainable and last a century.
Using urban vertical farming, we aim at the production of most of the demand at the shortest distance, minimizing the carbon footprints.
According to the Maslow's pyramid of human needs, people need shelter, safety and food to be able to focus on higher purposes.
We feel that internet can be use as a binding element across self-sustainable societies so that more demands can be fulfilled.

moreare intended to be "off-the-grid ready" homes, with minimal reliance on both public utilities and fossil fuels. Earthships are constructed to use available natural resources, especially energy from the sun. Earthships are designed to use thermal mass construction and natural cross ventilation, assisted by thermal draught (Stack effect), to regulate indoor temperature.
moreCreative Commons develops, supports, and stewards legal and technical infrastructure that maximizes digital creativity, sharing, and innovation. The goal is realizing the full potential of the Internet — universal access to research and education, full participation in culture — to drive a new era of development, growth, and productivity.
moreBased on blockchain technology, Ethereum is the decentralized platform that runs smart contracts: applications that run exactly as programmed without any possibility of downtime, censorship, fraud or third party interference. Ethereum and other blockchain technology-related initiatives have the potential of transforming the world we live in within a few years.
more“It is a ‘connect the dots' type initiative which aims to collact various forms of open source technology to make up an entire lifestyle based on low-cost modular solution and open knowledge. It is an important mainstream-oriented project which can help to spread the word about integrating open source design and technology into our daily lives.
moreIs a holistic framework consisting of complimentary digital tools that will help bring together the countless amazing but highly fragmented movements, change agents and organizations already out there doing amazing work. A global platform that taps into the deep currents of collaboration within all of us will serve to greatly amplify the impact each of us can make, to create a tsunami of change.

"Imagine a home that heats itself, that provides its own water, that grows its own food. Imagine that it needs no expensive technology, that it recycles its own waste, that it has its own power source. And now imagine that it can be built anywhere, by anyone, out of the things society throws away. Thirty years ago, architect Michael Reynolds imagined just such a home - then set out to build it.”

The switch in the value system that our grid will allow will have immense repercussions in many human activities, starting from their food and energy production, to technology, automation, lifestyle, education and more. We indicate that this transition will in time eliminate the root causes of the most impending problems nowadays.

Jaque Fresco, The Venus Project
War represents the supreme failure of nations to resolve their differences. From a strictly pragmatic standpoint, it is the most inefficient waste of lives and resources ever conceived.
Jaque Fresco, The Venus Project
Earth is abundant with plentiful resources. Our practice of rationing resources through monetary control is irrelevant and counter-productive to our survival.
Jaque Fresco, The Venus Project
As we begin to plan for a new human society, we need to foster common values about clean air, water, and other elements of self-sustenance. These, along with a complete inventory of Earth's resources, will form the basis for a holistic approach to cybernated decision-making.
Jaque Fresco, The Venus Project
Science and education, when devoid of a social conscience or environmental and human concern, are meaningless.
Jaque Fresco, The Venus Project
We must stop constantly fighting for human rights and equal justice in an unjust system, and start building a society where equal rights are an integral part of the design.
Jaque Fresco, The Venus Project
Whenever money is involved, there is elitism.
Jaque Fresco, The Venus Project
Our times demand the declaration of the world's resources as the common heritage of all people.
Jaque Fresco, The Venus Project
Although many of us consider ourselves forward-thinkers, we still cling tenaciously to the old values of the monetary system.
Jaque Fresco, The Venus Project
We are in the process of taking our first baby steps towards a civilization that can stand on his own feet. We will need to try, then fail, than try and fail again until we will learn how to walk, how to run, and how to jump.

01.
We need to inform, not convince. Our focus is to create a system which allows people which are already convinced to take a step in the right direction. The other will follow in due time.
02.
We are designing a distributed system for wishes (demands), resources (offer) and operators (jobs) are tokenized and excheangeable directly.
03.
This will only happen in a post-scarcity situation. Until then, people will have to contribute to satisfy a need in high demand. When automation replaces these jobs, people will be able to focus on higher purposes.
